EPR is a policy approach under India's E-Waste Management Rules 2022 that makes producers, importers, and brand owners legally responsible for the end-of-life management of their electronic products. Producers must meet annual collection and recycling targets and can fulfil obligations by purchasing EPR credits from authorised recyclers like Hotdeals Solutions.

Producers (manufacturers and importers of electrical and electronic equipment), bulk consumers (organisations that purchase large quantities of EEE), and dismantlers or recyclers operating in India. Any entity that places electronic products in the Indian market above the prescribed threshold must register on the CPCB EPR portal and meet annual targets.

We accept all 21 categories listed under Schedule I of the E-Waste Management Rules — including IT & telecom equipment (laptops, phones, servers, networking gear), consumer electronics (TVs, ACs, refrigerators), large and small household appliances, lighting equipment, medical devices, and solar photovoltaic panels.

Form 6 is the acknowledgement certificate issued by an authorised recycler confirming that your e-waste has been received and will be processed in an environmentally sound manner. Hotdeals Solutions issues Form 6 within 48 hours of material receipt. This document is required for bulk consumers to demonstrate compliance during audits.

Form 2 is a manifest used by bulk consumers or producers to record the transfer of e-waste to an authorised collection point or dismantler — it documents the handover. Form 6 is issued by the authorised recycler as a receipt confirming that waste has been accepted for environmentally sound processing. Together, they create an auditable chain of custody.

We follow a certified data destruction protocol aligned with DoD 5220.22-M and NIST 800-88 standards. Storage media undergoes software-based overwriting for functional drives and physical shredding for non-functional or highly sensitive media. A destruction certificate is issued per serial number upon request, suitable for ISO 27001 and IT Act compliance documentation.

EPR credits are issued by CPCB in metric tonnes (MT) equivalent based on verified e-waste processed. The credit value depends on the product category and the producer's annual obligation target. Hotdeals Solutions transfers credits directly to your CPCB EPR portal account after processing is verified and documented — typically within 15 working days of material receipt.

Our standard minimum for a scheduled pickup is 50 kg of mixed e-waste or 10 units of large appliances (TVs, ACs, refrigerators). For smaller quantities, we offer drop-off at our collection centres or periodic aggregated pickup for registered clients. Contact us to discuss your specific volume.

Yes. Hotdeals Solutions operates under CPCB authorisation as a registered e-waste recycler, enabling us to legally process, dismantle, and recycle e-waste and issue valid EPR credits. Our authorisation certificates are available for review upon request and are required for compliance documentation.

Standard documentation — including Form 6, destruction certificates, and EPR credit transfer records — is completed within 5–10 working days of material processing. Expedited documentation for audit purposes can be arranged within 48 hours for an additional service charge. All documents are digitally issued and archivable.
